Maribyrnong Park St Marys Cricket Club
Maribyrnong Park St Marys Cricket Club is a proud and community-focused cricket club with a strong commitment to participation, development, teamwork and creating an inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities.
Our club brings together players, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters who share a passion for cricket and the wider sporting community. We aim to provide an enjoyable and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued, respected and encouraged to reach their potential both on and off the field.
With a focus on sportsmanship, player development, teamwork and positive behaviour, Maribyrnong Park St Marys Cricket Club strives to be a club that represents the best values of community sport. We are committed to providing opportunities for junior and senior players to develop their skills, build lasting friendships and enjoy being part of a supportive club culture.
Beyond cricket, we recognise the important role our club plays within the broader community. We promote respect, inclusion, gender equality, responsible behaviour and participation, while encouraging our members to uphold the standards and values expected of a modern community sporting club.
Maribyrnong Park St Marys Cricket Club is more than just a cricket club — it is a community where people come together, compete, develop and belong.
Our history
Maribyrnong Park St Mary’s Cricket Club was formed in 2011 through the union of two proud local clubs: Maribyrnong Park and St Mary’s. While our name is new, our roots run deep — with a rich history stretching back to 1972.
Since coming together, MPSMCC has grown into one of the VTCA’s most respected clubs. Our senior men have worked their way through the grades to compete at the top levels, celebrating premiership success as recently as 2025.
We’re equally proud of our commitment to growing the game for everyone. In 2019 we launched our first Women’s team, and in just a few short years they’ve made 4 grand finals and taken home a premiership. From our Woolworths Blasters program for under 8s through to a strong Under 18 turf contingent, our juniors are the heartbeat of the club.
With turf cricket on our main oval and synthetic on our second, we provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to pull on the blue and red and be part of the MPSMCC family.
